About EventOS

EventOS is a business operating system for creative event businesses. It is currently being developed and operated under the trading name Simplex Cloud. References to "EventOS", "we", "us" or "our" in this policy refer to Simplex Cloud.

What data we collect

When you join the EventOS waitlist, we collect the following information:

  • Your name (optional)
  • Your email address (required)
  • Your business type (optional)
  • Your country (optional)
  • Your website or Instagram handle (optional)
  • Your biggest admin challenge (optional)
  • Whether you are interested in beta testing (optional)
  • Your IP address and browser information at the time of signup
  • The source or referral code used to reach the page (if applicable)
  • Your marketing consent record, including the date and time consent was given

Why we collect this data

We collect your information for the following purposes:

  • To add you to the EventOS early access waitlist
  • To send you launch updates, beta invitations and founder pricing information
  • To understand who is interested in the platform so we can build it for the right people
  • To record your marketing consent in accordance with data protection law

Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of your explicit consent. When you tick the consent checkbox on the waitlist form, you are giving us permission to contact you with EventOS updates, early access invitations and product news. You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at info@simplex-cloud.co.uk.

How long we keep your data

We will retain your data until one of the following occurs:

  • EventOS launches publicly and your waitlist record is transferred to your account
  • You request deletion of your data
  • The waitlist programme is closed

We will not retain your data beyond what is reasonably necessary for the purposes described above.

Sharing of your data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to any third parties. We do not share your information with any marketing or advertising networks.

Your data is stored securely and is only accessible to the Simplex Cloud team building EventOS.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and applicable data protection law, you have the following rights:

  • Access — you can request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction — you can ask us to correct any inaccurate data
  • Deletion — you can ask us to delete your data at any time
  • Withdrawal of consent — you can withdraw your marketing consent at any time
  • Portability — you can request your data in a portable format
  • Objection — you can object to processing in certain circumstances

Requesting deletion

To have your waitlist record deleted, email info@simplex-cloud.co.uk with the subject line "Delete my data" and include the email address you used to sign up. We will confirm deletion within 7 days.

This website uses a session cookie to support the CSRF security token required for form submissions. No tracking or advertising cookies are set.
